Hioki’s India and Japan leadership, while unveiling the FA 1220-22 Tester, mentioned India as a critical market for the company
Hioki, Japan has recently flagged off the shipment of the first Made-in-India Hioki In-Circuit Tester FA 1220-22. This was a special occasion, as this is the first time, the company has manufactured anything outside its home country Japan.
“Its a milestone moment for us here at Hioki Japan. At the same time it is a clear indication of how we see India as a market. Together with Maxim SMT, we will contribute to India through manufacturing and enhance our sales,” said Masamitsu Miyashita, Director of Test System, Hioki Japan.
The equipment was manufactured in India at the MAXIM SMT manufacturing facility. Notably, MAXIM SMT has been partnering with Hioki to manufacture Hioki test fixtures since 2021.
