LED Bulb

In June 2014, GE launched Link, an affordable LED bulb that lets consumers remotely control their home lighting from anywhere in the world and sync it with other connected devices. Enabled by the new Wink app, Link eliminates the need for expensive add-ons typically associated with connected devices, making it an easy and cost-effective way for consumers to light up their smart homes. Link light bulbs are available in three varieties that include the 60-watt replacement soft white (2700 K) LED bulb, the indoor soft white (2700 K) floodlight LED and the indoor/outdoor-rated bright white (3000 K) spotlight LED.

LED driver

In July 2014, GlacialPower launched a new dual-mode GP-LC7028 LED driver powering LED lighting from 7 W to 20 W. Featuring either constant current or constant voltage operation, the LED driver mode and power output can be adjusted to fit a variety of lighting and signage applications. Power input and output lines are connected via robust and easy-to-use clips. The GP-LC7028 is almost like two LED drivers in one, with DIP switch configuration to either constant current or constant voltage mode for enhanced functionality. It can be customised to specific LED lighting needs with 8 modes of constant current operation (from 250 mA to 700 mA) and constant voltage modes (from 12 V, 24 V and 28 V) available. For constant current mode, 1-10 V dimming and push dimming can also be enabled with a dimmer.
