Along with iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple’s first foldable iPhone is also expected to be a part of the announcement. The event is expected to take place at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino.
The launch of Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro max may take place on September 9, according to latest reports as opposed to September 8 as reported earlier. Apple hasn’t officially commented on the date yet but the primary reason suggested here is that September 7 falls on labor day in the US and Apple hasn’t held an iPhone keynote after a holiday immediately.
Along with Apple iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple is also expected to unveil its first foldable phone at the event. The event is expected to begin at 10 AM Pacific time (10:30 PM IST) at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino.
The pre-orders for iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone 18 Pro are expected to begin on Saturday September 12, and the sales are expected to begin on Friday, September 18.
Apple is also expected to release iOS 27 before the new iPhones reach stores. The software update could arrive on Monday, September 14, following Apple’s recent release pattern.
The update is expected to support all iPhones that are compatible with iOS 26, meaning the software will not be exclusive to the iPhone 18 series.
Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected to be announced at the same event. However, its availability may differ depending on supply and production plans. The company is expected to confirm its iPhone 18 Pro Max event schedule later this month.
