ABZO Motors Launches Electric Cruiser Motorcycle, ABZO VS01

  • ABZO VS01 Electric Cruiser Claims a 180 Km Range on a Single Charge
  • It also supports fast charging, which takes only 3 hours and 20 minutes to reach a full charge

ABZO Motors is looking to make a significant impact in India’s electric vehicle landscape with the introduction of the ABZO VS01 electric motorcycle. Priced at Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model and Rs 2.22 lakh (ex-showroom) for the upper-tier variant, this cruiser motorcycle boasts an impressive 180 km range on a single charge.

The ABZO VS01 embraces a retro-themed cruiser design and presents riders with a palette of four color options: Imperial Red, Mountain White, Georgian Bay, and Black. A plethora of modern features enhances its appeal, such as LED headlights and taillamps, a state-of-the-art digital instrument cluster, and 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires. Measuring 1,473 mm in length, boasting a ground clearance of 158 mm, and featuring a comfortable 700 mm seat height, this motorcycle offers a distinctive fusion of style and practicality.

Under the hood, the ABZO VS01 packs a punch, generating 8.44 bhp of peak power and an impressive 190 mm of maximum torque. Its 72V 70 Ah lithium-ion battery is a true game-changer, propelling the motorcycle to an astounding range of 180 km on a single charge. Whether you’re cruising in Eco, Normal, or Sports mode, with speeds ranging from 45 kmph to 85 kmph, this electric marvel promises an exhilarating ride. Additionally, its regenerative braking technology maximizes efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

Charging with a standard charger takes just six hours and 35 minutes for a full charge. Additionally, it supports fast charging, reducing this time to three hours and 20 minutes. The ABZO VS01 is equipped with a robust suspension system, featuring a telescopic front fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Safety is paramount, thanks to disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with a combi-braking system (CBS) for added control. For added convenience, it includes a reverse mode for effortless maneuvering.

Kanchi Patel, the co-founder of ABZO Motors, hinted at a phased launch of the ABZO VS01 across various regions in India, along with plans to expand in Gujarat. Excitingly, the company’s future holds further diversification, including the introduction of standard bikes, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable, high-performance electric mobility.
