Shema Electric Launches Eagle+ and TUFF+, High-Speed Electric Scooters

  • The latest scooters from Shema are propelled by advanced battery technology and versatility
  • Both the electric scooters are being manufactured in Manesar and Odisha

Shema E-Vehicle & Solar Pvt Ltd (SES) has launched two high-speed scooters called Eagle+ and TUFF+. These scooters come with advanced battery tech and are meant to change the way businesses and regular users use electric scooters. Shema Electric started in 2016 and was one of the first companies to make their own slow electric scooters as part of the ‘Make in India’ plan.

Manufactured in modern facilities located in Manesar and Odisha, the TUFF+ emerges as a versatile EV loader, capable of carrying up to 150 kgs and reaching a top speed of 60 km/hr. On the other hand, the Eagle+ is a passenger two-wheeler, offering a maximum speed of 50 km/hr. Both scooters come equipped with an array of features, including Bluetooth speakers, anti-theft alarms, USB charging ports, and central locking systems.

The Eagle+, particularly targeting last-mile deliveries, comes with Sun Mobility’s IP67 waterproof swappable battery, offering cost-effectiveness. Shema’s showrooms across India are now open to enthusiasts and businesses interested in acquiring these new electric scooters, with prices starting at Rs 139,999 for the TUFF+ and Rs 117,199 for the Eagle+ (both ex-showroom prices). Furthermore, buyers can take advantage of FAME II incentives and region-specific subsidies.

Yogesh Kumar Lath, Founder & CEO of Shema Electric, underscores the company’s dedication to shaping India’s mobility future by prioritizing energy efficiency, sustainability, and leading-edge technology. He emphasizes that these scooters are meticulously designed to meet the soaring demand for high-speed, rugged two-wheelers.

After forming strategic alliances with key EV distributors and marketplaces, Shema Electric has deployed over 20,000 electric vehicles to aggregators. The company takes pride in marketing its products under its brand name while providing comprehensive after-sales service. With these two new scooters added to their lineup, Shema Electric aims to lead India into an era of energy-efficient, sustainable mobility.
