Aimtron Electronics to Expand Bengaluru Manufacturing, Set Up GCC

The company expanded into southern India to cater to customers located in the region

Vadodara-based Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) company Aimtron Electronics is planning to expand its manufacturing capacity in Bengaluru and establish a global capability centre (GCC) in the city as part of its growth strategy.

The expansion is part of Aimtron’s three-pronged plan to scale its business through larger box-build products, end-to-end UPS solutions, and global expansion. The company is targeting ₹1,000 crore in revenue by FY2029, supported by a targeted 40–50% CAGR over the next three to five years.

Aimtron currently operates a 10,000 sq ft facility at Nallurhalli, Whitefield, Bengaluru, where it undertakes PCBA and box-build manufacturing. The facility has the capacity to produce up to 1 lakh products per month and focuses on high-mix and high-technology products.

“We have a 10,000 sq ft facility at Nallurhalli, Whitefield, Bengaluru, where we do PCBA and box-build, with an ability to make 1 lakh products in a month. With this facility, we focus on mix- and hi-tech products,” said Sneh Shah, Whole-Time Director, Aimtron Electronics, speaking to TNIE.

The company expanded into southern India to cater to customers located in the region. It is now exploring locations in Devanahalli and the outskirts of Bengaluru for its next manufacturing expansion and GCC. The two facilities could potentially be developed at a single location.

The proposed Bengaluru expansion is currently at an early stage, with the company evaluating suitable locations.

Meanwhile, Aimtron is also developing its greenfield Aimtron Mechatronics facility in Vadodara with an initial investment of around ₹100 crore. The facility is expected to begin operations by the end of FY2027 or in Q1 FY2028.

Founded in 2011 as a PCBA assembler and designer, Aimtron is now moving up the electronics manufacturing value chain towards complete product and system integration, including larger box-build and end-to-end solutions.
