Airtel, Cisco Partner to Bring Advanced Connectivity Solutions to Customers

As per the alliance, Bharti Airtel will also provide the Cisco-Webex solution as a one-stop destination for collaboration and conferencing needs

Bharti Airtel, a leading telecommunications services provider in India, and Cisco announced that they have entered into a strategic partnership to provide advanced networking and connectivity solutions to SMB and enterprise customers in India.

Under the partnership, Bharti Airtel will provide Managed Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) services in association with Cisco. Developed on the Cisco-Viptela platform, the Managed SD-WAN service will give in-built security and real-time analytics. In addition, this service will have a centralised policy, and a management controller. This will give customers with a clear view of data flows across their networks and allow them to optimise data traffic to suit their business requirements.

Benefits for customers

The fully managed, dynamic and resilient central platform will allow businesses cut down their networking capex and reduce migration issues during the transition of data and applications to the cloud.

As per the alliance, Bharti Airtel will also provide the Cisco-Webex solution as a one-stop destination for all their collaboration and conferencing needs. With Webex platform, the company’s customers will be able to collaborate across multiple video and audio platforms and devices. This enable them to seamlessly connect with remote offices, customers, clients and employees.
