Tuesday, November 04, 2014: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is keen to boost investments in his state and in this regard he is going to have face-to-face meeting with large-scale Japanese firms during his visit to Japan.
The Japanese companies, which he is set to meet are, port development company Nippon Usen Kalsha, telecommunication and Internet company, Softbank, electronics major Panasonic, power generation and solar company NIDEC and others like Hitachi, Itochu, Mitshubushi Corporation, Maruti Suzuki, Bank of Tokyo, Mitsui, Nintendo, Shin Maywa and IHI Corporation. Each of the companies will be given a slot of 20-30 minutes interaction. The meeting is due on 28 November and the tour has been set from 24 November-28 November, as confirmed by communications adviser to the AP government, Parakala Prabhakar.
His itinerary includes an address to the India IT Forum in Kyoto, meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Ministers of Economy, Trade and Industry, Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and also interaction with the top functionaries of Japan International Cooperation Agency. The AP CM has also planned a visit to Singapore between 11 to 14 November. The aim is to have an overview of Singapore’s building technologies with focus on making buildings more energy efficient.
