ASM Technologies is set to invest ₹2.5 billion in Tamil Nadu, boosting its design-led electronics and precision engineering capabilities while strengthening India’s ESDM ecosystem.
ASM Technologies Limited will invest ₹2.5 billion in Tamil Nadu to expand its design-led manufacturing in the Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guidance, Government of Tamil Nadu, under which it will acquire 5 acres of land to set up a state-of-the-art design facility.
The investment aims to strengthen ASM’s presence in Tamil Nadu’s growing technology manufacturing ecosystem, enhance precision engineering and ESDM-related capabilities, and expand design capabilities and product offerings across electronics, solar, and semiconductor sectors.
ASM Technologies currently operates two advanced manufacturing facilities at Dabaspet, Karnataka and Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, serving as centres of excellence for multiple industry verticals.

Shares of ASM Technologies Ltd closed at ₹4,375.00, up ₹193.80 (4.64%) on the BSE.
