Strengthening its footprint in India, ASYS Group appoints R M G Electronics, led by industry veteran and its former Asia head Parvindar Singh, as its exclusive distributor for South Asia.
Electronics manufacturing firm ASYS Group has appointed R M G Electronics Pvt Ltd as its new partner in India, as the company continues to expand its footprint in the rapidly growing Indian electronics manufacturing sector.

The appointment is particularly notable as the startup R M G is led by Parvindar Singh, a former Managing Director of ASYS Group Asia, who brings over 35 years of experience in the industry.
Singh, a veteran in the electronics sector, expressed his excitement about the new venture. “After nearly 28 incredible years with ASYS Group, including my role as Managing Director – Asia-Pacific, I officially retired at the end of December 2024,” he said.
“It has been a rewarding journey filled with growth, collaboration, and lasting relationships. I am honoured that ASYS has chosen R M G Electronics as their Exclusive Distributor for the Electronics market in South Asia,” he noted.
India’s electronics manufacturing sector has seen a remarkable transformation, underpinned by robust government support, surging domestic demand, and realignments in global supply chains.
With multinational giants like Apple, Samsung, and Foxconn expanding operations in India, the country is fast becoming a key player in the global electronics market.
ASYS Group, which has long been a key player in the sector, aims to capitalise on this growth by enhancing its presence in India through this strategic partnership. Singh added, “This new chapter represents more than just a business transition; it is a renewed commitment to growth—for our customers, our team, and the ASYS brand.”
The automotive electronics segment is another area of focus for ASYS, with major global players such as Bosch, Continental, and Hella expanding their presence in India.
Singh’s leadership at R M G Electronics may help drive the company’s growth in this key area, leveraging his extensive network and deep understanding of the industry, ASYS highlighted.
“We look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead, and I am committed to making this journey a success,” Singh concluded.
