With 17 years at NATRiP, Tikku is primed to drive Mahindra’s policy influence at the Central & State levels.
Mahindra Group has made a strategic hire, bringing on board Pamela Tikku, who will now steer Mahindra’s automotive policy advocacy in India. Her extensive background promises to be a significant asset, bolstering Mahindra’s influence in the rapidly evolving auto industry.
Tikku, stepping into the Vice President and Head of Auto Group Public Affairs position, is tasked with championing Mahindra’s stand on automotive policy at both the Central and State government tiers. Given her comprehensive understanding of the sector and its regulation, she’s expected to craft a dynamic roadmap for Mahindra’s future automotive initiatives.
At ICAT, she assumed roles like Deputy Director (Powertrain) and Chief Business Officer. Her leadership saw ICAT achieve significant accomplishments, such as launching the Technology Portal ASPIRE under the government’s Capital Goods Scheme.
Tikku, an alumnus of REC, Jaipur with a BE in Mechanical Engineering, began her automotive journey at Rico Auto Industries. Later, she enhanced her portfolio by joining Honda Siel Cars India in 1999 as a Senior Executive.
Tikku expresses her enthusiasm in her own words: “I am elated to share that I am starting a new journey as Vice President & Head – Auto Group Public Affairs at Mahindra Group.”
The automotive industry watches keenly as this merger of experience and innovation promises to herald a new chapter for Mahindra and the sector at large.
