Uttar Pradesh Government introduces 100 electric buses in Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir Consecration. This initiative aligns with India’s broader efforts to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change.
Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is expected to flag off these 100 electric buses, with over 3 lakh devotees expected to visit Ayodhya for the Ram Mandir Consecration.
Electric buses contribute to reducing carbon emissions, improving air quality, and supporting India’s climate change initiatives.
The electric buses are supplied by PMI Electro Mobility, a company with a significant presence in the electric bus market in India. The company already operates 700 e-buses in Uttar Pradesh and has a total of 1300 e-buses running across 28 cities in the country.
PMI Electro Mobility’s CEO, Dr. Aanchal Jain, highlighted that these buses will offer safe and comfortable transit for dignitaries, pilgrims, and the general public.
