A major step toward sustainability with a 700kW rooftop solar system by Orb Energy—cutting electricity costs by over ₹70 lakhs a year and meeting 60% of its daytime energy needs with clean, renewable power.

Bergen Pipe Supports India Pvt. Ltd., located in Sricity, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, has taken a significant step toward sustainability by installing a 700-kilowatt rooftop solar system, designed and implemented by Orb Energy. The system is expected to generate over 1 million units of electricity annually, significantly cutting down the company’s power costs and reducing its carbon footprint.
The solar setup was completed in two phases—an initial 350 kWp system commissioned in 2023, followed by an additional 350 kWp in 2025. With this full-scale installation now operational, Bergen Pipe Supports is on track to save more than ₹70 lakhs per year on electricity expenses. The company anticipates a full return on investment in just under four years, making the project both financially and environmentally beneficial.
Orb Energy’s solar solution is helping Bergen Pipe Supports meet up to 60% of its daytime power requirements using clean energy. This shift to solar not only lowers operational costs but also reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.Orb Energy stands out in the Indian rooftop solar market with its end-to-end offerings.
