BGauss, a prominent electric vehicle original equipment manufacturer (OEM), has recently commenced manufacturing its latest electric two-wheeler, the RUV 350. This new vehicle is being produced at the company’s facility located in Chakan, Pune, Maharashtra. The BGauss RUV350 is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.10 lakh.
Currently, BGauss boasts an extensive network, with over 120 dealerships spread across the country.
The RUV350 is equipped with a powerful lithium-ion battery that boasts a high capacity, offering an ARAI-certified range of up to 145km on a single charge. This battery system is coupled with an in-wheel hyperdrive electric motor, delivering a top speed of 75kmph. Constructed primarily from metal, the RUV350 features robust 16-inch alloy wheels and provides ample storage space not only for a helmet but also for a charger and additional items.
Enhancing its technological appeal, the BGauss RUV350 includes a digital TFT cluster that supports remote diagnostics, Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated navigation. The display offers a plethora of real-time data, such as phone alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. Additionally, it includes multiple functionalities like reverse mode, cruise control, hill hold, fall detection, vacation mode, and sensors for both the side and main stands.
Moreover, the digital display offers features such as live vehicle tracking, ‘God mode’ for vehicle immobilisation, geofencing, a dual theme, document storage, and a photometric adaptive display that adjusts for day and night visibility, showcasing the vehicle’s speed, battery condition, and remaining range.
In a remarkable achievement, the BGauss RUV 350 has distinguished itself as the first electric two-wheeler in India to ascend to Umling La, the world’s highest motorable road, marking a significant milestone for the company.
