BLive is tackling the shortage of electric vehicles (EVs) by providing comprehensive solutions to last-mile delivery firms such as Zomato, according to the company.
Expanding on its successful partnership with Zomato, BLive, a multi-brand EV platform, has launched 30 Ather EVs for Zomato deliveries in Ahmedabad. This move is part of their plan to increase their EV fleet in 20 Indian cities, showcasing a mutual commitment to sustainability and a reduced carbon footprint in the delivery sector by transitioning from traditional vehicles to eco-friendly EVs. To combat the shortage of EVs, BLive offers comprehensive solutions to companies like Zomato, especially targeting Tier II cities to bridge the supply gap in last-mile delivery services. This strategic collaboration with Zomato began in July, initiating the EV venture in Hyderabad with an initial fleet, marking a notable advancement in sustainable food delivery in India.
Samarth Kholkar, CEO and co-founder of BLive expressed excitement about partnering with Zomato and Ather to bring 30 Ather electric vehicles to Ahmedabad’s food delivery scene. This initiative is part of BLive’s commitment to revolutionize delivery methods by integrating EVs into Zomato’s operations, promoting environmental sustainability and innovation. Nikhil Patil, Head of Corporate Sales at Ather Energy, also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting electric vehicle performance and environmental benefits.
