Bosch Power Tools, a leading Indian manufacturer and marketer of power tools for construction, metalworking and woodworking and industry, has launched a new range of orbital sander and jigsaw that are specifically designed for professionals.
Bosch’s GSS 140 orbital sander is ergonomic in design and is highly comfortable to hold, with a weight of only 1.2 kg. Due to its low weight, the new product is suitable for working overhead as well as in tight spaces. The new orbital sander is equipped with GSS 140 Professional and easy-fit clamping system in order to ensure that sanding sheets remain securely in place, thus preventing the sandpaper from tearing or flapping. The latest system is also suitable for working using sandpaper from the roll and also using velcro-type abrasives.
Tool for professionals
Besides, the GSS 140 Professional has optimised ball bearings that prevent premature wearing due to aggressive sanding dust. It is also incorporated with the Bosch’s micro-filter system to ensure clean and dust-free work.
The new orbital sander comes with a plate dimension of 101 x 112 that makes it highly compact. The orbital sander’s rated power input of 220 W and no-load orbital stroke rate of 28,000 opm makes it a powerful tool for professionals. The new product has a sanding plate of 114 x 140 mm dimension. The tool is provided with an additional soft-grip section below the on/off switch that allows the professionals to work comfortably and without tiring or straining.
