From manufacturing intelligence to sovereign cloud infrastructure, Bosch SDS and NxtGen’s partnership aims to make India as a hub for secure, compliant, industrial AI innovation
Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS), operating under Bosch Global Software Technologies Pvt Ltd, has announced a partnership with NxtGen to launch India’s sovereign industrial artificial intelligence (AI) cloud.
The initiative aims to provide enterprises with secure, compliant and high-performance AI and Industry 4.0 solutions hosted entirely within India.
As part of the partnership, Bosch SDS and NxtGen will jointly develop a “Digital Twin – Manufacturing Cloud,” integrating sovereign infrastructure with Internet of Things (IoT), simulation and engineering platforms.
The initiative will support predictive maintenance, asset optimisation, edge-to-cloud data orchestration and secure industrial AI deployment.
According to the companies, the collaboration combines Bosch SDS’s expertise in manufacturing AI, including Industry 4.0 platforms, digital twin and simulation technologies, with NxtGen’s sovereign cloud infrastructure, private cloud, edge data centres and GPU-as-a-Service capabilities. Together, they will enable enterprises to run advanced AI workloads while meeting data residency and regulatory requirements.
NxtGen will provide managed GPU infrastructure services, including lifecycle management, monitoring, security and Kubernetes-based orchestration. Bosch SDS will contribute domain-led AI applications and engineering integration.
The agreement also covers joint go-to-market strategies, sector-specific co-creation and flexible deployment models.
Ramesh Ramaswamy, Chief Revenue Officer at Bosch SDS, said the partnership would allow customers to deploy GPU infrastructure at their premises while maintaining centralised management. He emphasised the integration of AI/ML use cases into ‘agentic AI’ journeys for cognitive enterprises.
A S Rajgopal, MD and CEO of NxtGen, further commented about the partnership, ““In manufacturing and retail, AI is rapidly evolving from dashboards to real-time operational control. That shift requires infrastructure that is local, predictable, and production-grade.”
The partnership will also deliver co-branded industry solutions, including Bosch SDS’s Retail AI Suite on NxtGen GPUaaS, Industry 4.0 platforms integrated with edge data centres, digital twin-driven engineering clouds and joint AI Foundry offerings.
