Brandworks Technologies And SandLogic Join Hands To Build Full Stack Edge AI Hardware

Partnering to advance indigenous innovation, Brandworks Technologies and SandLogic aim to build scalable full stack edge AI hardware solutions in India.

Brandworks Technologies and SandLogic Technologies have entered into a  partnership to co-develop full stack edge AI hardware products designed and manufactured in India, marking a significant step in the country’s push towards deeper technology ownership in advanced electronics.

The collaboration brings together Brandworks’ strengths in product design, hardware architecture and electronics manufacturing with SandLogic’s expertise in edge AI chips and multilingual speech intelligence. The companies will jointly develop AI enabled devices for applications where on device processing is critical, including voice enabled assistants, intelligent IoT systems and mobility solutions. By embedding intelligence directly into hardware, the partners aim to reduce reliance on cloud infrastructure while improving latency, data security and offline performance.

The partnership reflects a broader shift within India’s electronics ecosystem, as manufacturers move beyond assembly led models towards control over higher value technology layers such as silicon, firmware and embedded AI. This approach aligns with national efforts to strengthen domestic capabilities in advanced electronics and emerging technologies.

Commenting on the partnership, Ishwar Kumhar, Chief Executive Officer of Brandworks Technologies, said the collaboration would help bring secure and language-aware intelligence into everyday devices across homes, workplaces and mobility. Kamalakar Devaki, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SandLogic, said the alliance would translate advanced chip and speech technologies into trusted consumer products, positioning India as a global leader in edge based AI innovation.
