Brewer Science has recently announced an acquisition of Heraeus Epurio, a technology leader in ultrapure electronic chemicals used in semiconductor manufacturing. The transaction includes the company’s production facility in Dayton, Ohio, as well as its associated sales and support teams across Asia.
This acquisition will strengthen the company’s position in the global semiconductor supply chain as demand for advanced materials continues to rise.
Dr. Sri Kommu, Co-CEO of Brewer Science, said the move represents a significant step forward in the company’s “Zero Defects” journey. He noted that as materials become increasingly vital to the advanced semiconductor value chain, the acquisition will strengthen Brewer Science’s ability to ensure superior quality, supply reliability, and timely delivery of materials solutions to customers worldwide.

Based in Dayton, Ohio, Heraeus Epurio is known for developing and manufacturing photoacid generators, photo-initiators, monomers, crosslinkers, and other ultrapure speciality chemicals used in semiconductor and electronics applications. These products are engineered with extremely low trace-metal content to meet the stringent purity and performance standards required for next-generation chip manufacturing.
