To deliver end-to-end design, validation, and production readiness for global chipmakers, Cyient Semiconductors and Anora are setting up a test facility in Bengaluru.
Cyient Semiconductors has entered into a partnership with US-based Anora to establish a new semiconductor validation and production test centre in Bengaluru. The facility will expand integrated test and validation solutions for chipmakers, providing end-to-end services from design to production.
The collaboration will combine Cyient’s strength in custom ASIC/ASSP design and intelligent power solutions with Anora’s expertise in semiconductor validation and testing. Together, the firms aim to streamline the path from architecture and silicon bring-up to qualification and final testing.
The upcoming Bengaluru centre will include clean room facilities and advanced production equipment. Planned infrastructure features include probers, engineering and production handlers, automated test platforms and thermal solutions.
This capability will complement Anora’s existing clean room operations in Allen, Texas, creating a dual-base global test network.
Suman Narayan, CEO of Cyient Semiconductors, stated that the partnership was designed to meet industry demand for integrated service providers. He explained that semiconductor companies preferred fewer hand-offs and greater efficiency, and noted that the collaboration was expected to accelerate project timelines.
Hari Chandran, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Anora, remarked that the joint facility would enable customers to move faster, reduce risk, and achieve production readiness with greater confidence.
Founded in 2008, Anora has delivered more than 2800 projects for over 50 global clients. Cyient Semiconductors, with design centres in India, Belgium and the US, works with sectors including automotive, robotics, industrial automation and data centres.
On the market front, shares of parent company Cyient Limited rose 4.03 per cent to ₹1271.30 on the NSE on Tuesday afternoon, following the announcement.
