Delta Electronics Chairman and CEO Ping Cheng and its Indian President, Benjamin Lin, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently to discuss the company’s investment plans and roadmap for India across the energy transition, AI infrastructure, and smart manufacturing.
During the discussion, Cheng highlighted India’s importance for Delta’s global growth plans. The company shared plans to expand its local manufacturing capacity to cater to domestic demand as well as exports.
The company also highlighted its LEED Gold-certified headquarters and R&D centre in Bengaluru. The facility is expected to play a role in the company’s engineering and technology development activities in the country.
Delta also presented its roadmap for clean energy technologies, including hydrogen energy solutions and its Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) and Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell (SOEC) technologies. Delta said these solutions are intended to contribute to India’s energy transition.
