Delta Electronics has launched the DPR 850B rectifier in March 2011 for wire line and wireless network equipment with lower power demands.
Features and USP: The rectifier can deliver a high efficiency of 95 per cent and power density as high as 30 W/inch3 and power range of less than 5.5 kW for the telecom power market. Its platform and shelf solutions can increase energy efficiency by 3–5 per cent over the industry standard for low power applications. In addition, a 37–50 per cent reduction in heat by the rectifiers requires lower installed cooling capacity leading to a total energy savings of 4.5–7.5 per cent compared to the industry standard. The DPR 850B platform offers a compact footprint and creates additional space that allows operators to install more revenue generating equipment. Its low noise level is an additional benefit for installations in urban areas.
