Strengthening India’s aerospace ambitions, Dexcel Electronics secures a long-term supply deal with HAL Korwa, ensuring support for avionics in defence platforms.
Dexcel Electronics has entered into a Long Term Buying Agreement (LTBA) with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Korwa, for the supply of a critical avionics subsystem module.
While specific details of the project remain undisclosed due to its sensitive nature, the agreement marks a significant step in strengthening India’s aerospace ecosystem.
The partnership is expected to provide sustained support for mission-critical avionics systems, reinforcing HAL’s role in defence and aerospace platforms. Dexcel Electronics, part of the Sanlayan Group, has emphasised its commitment to delivering high-reliability embedded and electronic solutions designed to meet the rigorous standards of the sector.
Furthermore, the LTBA reflects ongoing efforts to enhance India’s self-reliance in defence technology, aligning with broader national objectives to build indigenous capabilities in aerospace and avionics. By securing long-term supply arrangements, HAL and its partners aim to ensure continuity in critical programmes and reduce dependence on external sources.
Dexcel Electronics has highlighted that the agreement not only strengthens its collaboration with HAL but also positions the company to contribute more effectively to India’s defence and aerospace industries.
The firm has a track record of providing embedded systems and electronic solutions tailored to demanding operational environments, and the new arrangement is expected to deepen its role in supporting HAL’s projects.
