Digitek, famous for its photographic and smartphone accessories, has announced the launch of its latest portable trolley Bluetooth speaker in India. Priced at Rs 4,995, the Digitek Portable Trolley Bluetooth Speaker DBS-200 will compete with trolley Bluetooth speakers sold under brand names including Jack Martin, Qualimate, Artis, Aisen and Astrum in the country.
Features like compact size, attached handle, karaoke mic, 800W PMPO and super bass make it clear that the product is targeted towards the young and smartphone using generation in India. It also makes for a speaker that might get good consideration in cities with electricity problems as the company is claiming a three to four hours playback time on the same.
Recently Astrum and Aisen had also launched their portable trolley Bluetooth speakers with almost similar features in the country. Astrum had launched TM085 speaker at a price of Rs 3,890 while Aisen had launched one at a price of Rs 3,990.

Digitek Portable Trolley Bluetooth Speaker DBS-200 features
Integrated with 400W PMPO, users can connect this eight inch woofer to two speakers at a time. Digitek is claiming a 10 m connected Bluetooth range for this speaker.
It will come with a mic that consumers can use for karaoke sessions. The Digitek portable trolley Bluetooth speaker also supports FM and can be used to play music using pen-drives, memory cards connected via USB ports and TF/SD card slots.
The Digitek Bluetooth speaker will come integrated with a 3000mAH rechargeable battery that the company claims can provide a playback time of three to four hours.

The company claims that the new 8-inch portable speaker is already available at all leading smartphones accessories outlets and is priced at 4,995. Consumers can also buy this from electronics outlets and e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal in India.
However most e-commerce portals at the time of filing this article showed product status as not available or out of stock for the same.
