Joining forces, DPIIT and Kyndryl aim to boost India’s manufacturing and IT startup ecosystem, offering mentorship, AI expertise, infrastructure, and market access.
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and Kyndryl Solutions Pvt Ltd have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to boost innovation and support India’s startup ecosystem, particularly within the manufacturing and IT sectors.
This collaboration aims to help startups scale their operations through Kyndryl’s expertise in digital transformation and Generative AI technologies.
The MoU outlines a range of initiatives to support startups, including mentorship, infrastructure, and access to new markets. Startups will also gain the opportunity to integrate their solutions into enterprise ecosystems spanning various sectors.
Through this collaboration, Kyndryl will connect startups with enterprise customers, helping them integrate their innovations into large-scale business solutions. Startups will also receive guidance on product development, market readiness, cybersecurity, and enterprise deployment.
In addition, Kyndryl will host advisory sessions and industry workshops to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. The partnership will provide startups with access to government incentives and insights, as well as support in scaling internationally.
Shri Sanjiv, Joint Secretary at DPIIT, highlighted that this partnership marks a significant step towards nurturing an innovation-driven startup environment in India. By drawing on Kyndryl’s global experience, DPIIT intends to assist startups in enhancing their technological capabilities and expanding their business reach across various industries.
