The Unmanned Safety Institute (USI) and Drone Vidya, a division of Skyller Solutions, have announced a partnership with the aim to enhance workforce development in the Asian commercial drone market. This will bring together the expertise of USI and the capabilities of Drone Vidya to provide comprehensive drone training and certification solutions in the rapidly growing Asian market.
The partnership with USI will provide Drone Vidya with industry-recognised content, curriculum, and certifications. It aims to address inconsistencies and gaps related to commercial drone regulations and best practices in the Asian market. Drone Vidya is identified as the only drone academy in Thailand and the Asia Pacific with international standardised curriculums and industry recognized certifications.
Drone Vidya will offer USI’s training and certification programs through its digital app platform called ‘Mandala’. The digital-based offering will be available in the local language and currency. Certifications from Drone Vidya’s digital platform will require third-party validation of both knowledge and flight examinations.
