The partnership enables Lotus to leverage EDOM’s supply chain and engineering support across the Asian-Pacific market .
Lotus Microsystems ApS (Pvt Ltd.) enters a strategic distribution agreement with Taiwan-based EDOM Technology for Asia-Pacific markets. This collaboration combines Lotus Microsystems’ power management solutions with EDOM Technology’s extensive distribution network.
The partnership enables Lotus Microsystems to reach customers in computing, networking, and Internet of Things (IoT) segments across the region.
This agreement focuses on scaling Lotus Microsystems’ high-efficiency power modules that are designed to optimise energy usage in electronic systems. These modules address challenges related to thermal and power management, which are critical in complex device design, particularly as density and performance requirements increase in edge and cloud computing environments.
Lotus’ core technology focuses on reducing power losses and improving system-level power usage efficiency. This supports manufacturers aiming to extend product lifecycles, manage thermal load, and meet energy efficiency targets.
“EDOM Technology brings the local knowledge and technical capabilities required to scale our power solutions in a region that is central to electronics manufacturing and innovation,” says Hans Hasselby-Andersen, CEO of Lotus Microsystems.
“This partnership allows us to add differentiated power products to our offering and better support OEMs looking for advanced solutions in power delivery,” says Jeffrey Yu, CEO of EDOM Technology.
The deal aims for Lotus Microsystems’ global expansion by establishing a regional foothold in APAC through an established distribution partner. The companies expect the collaboration to reduce time-to-market for local customers and provide access to deeper application-level support for integration of Lotus’ power technologies into next-generation hardware systems.
