Wednesday, June 05, 2013: Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR) and a global leader in protecting and optimizing critical infrastructure, today announced the appointment of Sanjay Zadoo as the country manager for the India channel business taking over from Ausim Khan.
Sanjay will lead the channel team and continue to strengthen Emerson Network Power’s channel business. He will be responsible for growth initiatives through expansion in upcountry markets as well as increasing the channel breadth to pitch Emerson Network Power’s enterprise solutions.
Sanjay’s focus will be on enhancing channel partner profitability by increasing the product basket and implementing effective actions to improve training efficiency with the channel partners.
Commenting on the appointment, Sunil Khanna, president and managing director for Emerson Network Power in India said, “Sanjay brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge in the channel business. Given his track record in successfully developing and strengthening channel networks, he is well positioned to help us expand our reach and improve response time.”
Prior to joining Emerson Network Power, Sanjay served as sales director at Grainger Industrial Supply India Pvt. Ltd. With close to 20 years of experience in IT, industrial and electrical distribution business, he has held key sales positions in companies such as Ingram Micro, Neoteric Infomatique Ltd. and Godrej Pacific India Pvt. Ltd.
Sanjay holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronics from University of Pune.
