Designed for buses, trucks and logistics fleets, the platform combines advanced battery management, immersion cooling and predictive diagnostics.
As India’s electric vehicle market continues to mature, the focus is increasingly shifting beyond passenger vehicles toward commercial mobility. Tapping into this growing opportunity, EMO.energy has introduced a new battery platform tailored for heavy commercial electric vehicles.
The platform is designed to support a wide range of applications, including electric buses, trucks, logistics fleets, freight vehicles, construction equipment and industrial machinery. The company aims to address the rising demand for battery systems that can meet the performance, reliability and operational requirements of commercial EV operators.
Built for heavy-duty use cases, the new platform supports battery systems of up to 800 volts and is compatible with both lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery chemistries. Its modular architecture allows vehicle manufacturers to customize battery configurations based on specific operational needs.
A key feature of the platform is its immersion-cooling thermal management system, which helps maintain battery performance and safety under demanding operating conditions. The solution also incorporates an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) with cell-level monitoring, predictive diagnostics and real-time performance tracking.
The platform is integrated with EMO.energy’s battery intelligence software, SENS, enabling operators to monitor battery health, optimize fleet performance and reduce unexpected downtime.
The launch reflects a broader trend in the EV industry, where innovation is increasingly focused on software, data intelligence and system integration rather than battery cells alone. Fleet operators are placing greater emphasis on reliability, operational efficiency and lifecycle management as commercial electrification accelerates.
With electric buses, trucks and industrial vehicles expected to play a larger role in India’s transportation ecosystem, specialized battery platforms are becoming essential to support large-scale adoption. EMO.energy’s latest offering underscores the growing importance of intelligent battery systems in shaping the next phase of the country’s EV growth story.
