Euler Motors Names Anal Vijay Singh As VP Of Manufacturing And Head of Palwal Facility

With a 35-year career, Anal Vijay Singh was the Plant Head at Tata Motors Limited’s Pantnagar Works, overseeing extensive production and supply chain activities for the Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) segment.

Euler Motors, a leader in electric vehicle innovation, has appointed automotive expert Anal Vijay Singh as VP of Manufacturing & Plant heads to steer its advanced facility in Palwal, Haryana.

Anal Vijay Singh brings 35 years of experience from his tenure as Plant Head at Tata Motors Limited’s Pantnagar Works. Here, he managed extensive production and supply chain operations in the Small Commercial Vehicle (SCV) segment.

This appointment highlights Euler Motors’ dedication to establishing a top-tier EV manufacturing hub, responding to the growing commercial EV market demands. The company, which ranked third in 3-wheeler commercial EV sales in the last quarter of CY 2023, sees this move as crucial to bolstering its festive season sales performance. As VP of Manufacturing and Plant Head, Singh is tasked with integrating technology, manufacturing, and supply chain processes to achieve the plant’s annual goal of 35,000 units. His responsibilities include overseeing plant deliverables, facility planning, cost optimization, quality planning, and promoting manufacturing excellence throughout the value chain. Singh’s approach will incorporate Lean Manufacturing, Total Quality Management (TQM), and SQPDCME (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, Cost, Morale, and Environment) principles to enhance the facility’s manufacturing capabilities.

Saurav Kumar, founder and CEO of Euler Motors, expressed excitement about Singh’s addition, expecting his expertise to significantly advance the company’s manufacturing operations and market presence. He anticipates Singh’s experience will be instrumental in revolutionizing EV manufacturing and integrating processes that set new industry benchmarks.

Gaurav Kumar, Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Euler Motors, remarked on the importance of Singh’s appointment. He emphasized Singh’s role in advancing green manufacturing, implementing best industry practices, increasing output, and producing top-quality vehicles for the Indian market. This aligns with the company’s strategy for capacity expansion and market expansion.

Anal Vijay Singh shared his enthusiasm about joining Euler Motors, acknowledging the company’s rapid advancements in the EV sector. He looks forward to leading in the commercial EV space, focusing on innovative manufacturing practices that promise a significant industry transformation.

During his previous tenure at Tata Motors, Singh achieved significant milestones, including establishing the Tata Intra manufacturing facility and launching various BS6 small commercial vehicles, notably India’s first SCV Electric vehicle, Ace EV. He is recognized under the 1000 Visionary SME Programme (2015-16), a collaborative effort of JICA, CII, DIPP GOI. Additionally, Singh has held various influential roles, including Board Member of the National Board for Quality Promotion (NBQP), QCI, and Special Invitee to the CII Uttarakhand State Council.
