In the coming 12 months, EV motors will establish 20 outlets in Delhi-NCR region, followed by expanding its presence to other cities such as Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune. It will also set up service centres in each of these cities.

Commenting on the development, Vinit Bansal, Managing Director, EV Motors India, said, “For the nation to progress towards the vision of a large fleet of EVs across the country, a coordinated approach between real estate developers, vehicle OEMs and charger manufacturers is necessary. We thank our partners for all their support and look forward to a continued engagement with them.”

Amit Midha, VP Operations and Cluster Head North India, DLF India, said, “We are pleased to announce our association with PlugNgo. We are happy to partner their journey to change the dynamics of India’s new-age automotive landscape, fast track EV adoption and to introduce green transport mobility. Our unwavering commitment to clients at our workplaces is not only the most efficient, but also the greenest and safest.”

Each PlugNgo EV charging outlet will have several charging stations that are supplied by Taiwanese electronics maker Delta Electronics. The chargers will be connected and networked to cloud-based integrated software platform of PlugNgo.

The cost of an entire charging station could be in between Rs 7 and Rs 50 lakh, depending on the installation place, and can go up to Rs 3 crore along the highways.
