In January 2011, BioEnable Technologies launched a 10 fingerprint scanner—the BioScan10, which has been certified by STQC for fingerprint registration during the UID project.
Features and USP: The scanner is based on advanced fingerprint recognition technology that will make the fingerprint capture process easy and accurate. Its advanced optical technology and intelligent software allows the capture of fingerprints that are otherwise rejected by other scanners. It does not have any coating on its prism, hence, avoiding a lot of service related issues and ensuring proper registration.
