German Brand Metz launches LED TVs, High-end Appliances in India

Metz brand TVs are bundled with precise picture quality, colour quality, simple look and simple-to-use smart features

Germany-based consumer electronic company – Metz, which is acquired by Chinese major, Skyworth Electronics, has forayed into India’s consumer electronic market by launching premium television sets and high-end consumer goods. The company on Tuesday introduced different models of televisions in OLED –4K Android, Android and Analog categories. There are six models of TV sets introduced by Metz that will be made available across various distribution network formats.

In addition, the company showcased a range of high-end consumer appliances such as refrigerators, air-conditioners, washing machines, water purifiers etc. At the launch of products, the company also announced that its Metz brand has been took over by Shenzhen based Chinese company, Skyworth, which is the world’s fifth biggest manufacturer of LED TVs.

Elaborating on the development, Amitabh Tiwari, CEO, Skyworth India Electronics, said, “Metz brand is technologically advanced and innovative brand, with German engineering perfection. Under the global expansion plan for Skyworth, the launch of Metz brand in India, is very strategic decision. Indian market is now ready for technologically advanced premium models of LED TVs, and high-end appliances.”

“We are very confident that contemporary design, technology, product innovation, the value delivery by Metz brand, will be a great success in Indian market. Metz brand will be made available across all formats of distribution network for ease and convenience of buying,” he added.

TVs features and range

Incorporated with precise picture quality, colour quality, simple look and simple-to-use smart features, the new range of Metz brand TV sets allow consumers to access all the content at one place. Metz brand TV sets are incorporated with technologically advanced features and are available in different screen sizes of 65-inch, 40-inch and 32-inch. The TVs are priced between Rs 29,790 and Rs 2,98,490 depending upon the model, features incorporated and screen size.

The company also launched Metz brand smart home appliances, with unique features, integrated with advanced technology television.
