Palmi brings experience across finance, manufacturing, operations, and business growth
The Global Electronics Association has appointed Jason Palmi as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as part of a planned leadership transition. Palmi will oversee the organisation’s financial strategy, long-term planning, operational performance, and investment decisions.
Palmi and current CFO Tom Sandman will serve as co-CFOs through the end of 2026. Palmi will formally assume the CFO role from January 2027, while Sandman will remain with the Association in an advisory capacity through the first quarter of 2027 before retiring.
Palmi brings experience across finance, manufacturing, operations, and business growth. Most recently, he served as president, CEO, and CFO of Ramcel Precision Stamping and Manufacturing, where he helped double the company’s revenue from $28 million to $56 million within three years. During his tenure, he also worked on expanding manufacturing capacity, strengthening operations, and diversifying the customer base.
Before Ramcel, Palmi held senior finance positions at ConAgra, Medline, and Zurich. At ConAgra, he led global finance for a $1 billion business unit. His experience includes P&L management, forecasting, pricing and margin strategy, capital governance, profitability analysis, and executive reporting.
“Jason understands that sound financial leadership is not simply about the numbers; it is about enabling an organisation to invest wisely, respond quickly, and deliver greater value for the people it serves,” said John W. Mitchell, president and CEO, Global Electronics Association.
The Association said Palmi will work with its executive leadership team and Board of Directors on financial planning, investment discipline, risk management, and operational decision-making across its international activities.
“Global electronics manufacturers are navigating an environment defined by supply chain complexity, investment needs, policy change, and accelerating innovation,” said Palmi. “I am excited to join the Association and work with the team to ensure the organisation has the financial insight, operational agility, and long-term discipline needed to advance its mission and create value for members around the world.”
Mitchell also thanked Sandman for his contribution to the Association and said the transition will combine his institutional knowledge with Palmi’s perspective to provide continuity into 2027.
