With strategic leadership appointments announced, GlobalLogic aims to accelerate innovation, scale capabilities, and drive its next phase of growth.
GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company and a leader in digital engineering, has announced key leadership transitions and promotions within its senior leadership team, effective December 1, 2025. The appointments are aimed at supporting the company’s next phase of growth amid rapid advances in Generative, Agentic, and Physical AI.
As part of the changes, Sumit Sood will transition from Chief Operating Officer to the newly created role of Chief Synergy and Transformation Officer. Ethan Matyas has been appointed Chief Delivery Officer, Vishal Anand has been named Chief Operations Officer, and Vikas Kaul has joined the executive team as Chief People Officer.
“These strategic leadership appointments were driven by the evolution to meet the changing needs of GlobalLogic’s growing business and the rapid transformation and immense possibilities that Generative, Agentic, and Physical AI continue to create for clients and society,” the company said. The moves also reflect GlobalLogic’s focus on scaling innovation, optimizing its global delivery model, and maximizing opportunities within the Hitachi Group.

In his new role, Sood will focus on accelerating collaboration with Hitachi under the “True One Hitachi” vision while continuing to lead GlobalLogic’s AI transformation through VelocityAI. Matyas will oversee end to end global delivery, embedding AI across projects to strengthen client outcomes. Anand will drive operational excellence and scalable systems across global operations, while Kaul will lead the company’s global people strategy, focusing on talent development, culture, and workforce innovation to support long term growth.
