The TMZ is expected to support telecom equipment manufacturers, technology companies, MSMEs, startups, and other stakeholders across the telecom value chain. It is also projected to generate employment opportunities, boost regional industrial development, improve supply chain resilience, and enhance India’s position as a global hub for telecom manufacturing and innovation.
With the signing of the MoU, the Department of Telecommunications and the Government of Madhya Pradesh will formalise the framework for cooperation for establishing TMZ Phase-I in Gwalior, reinforcing the Centre-State partnership in advancing India’s telecom manufacturing and technology ambitions.
The event will bring together senior officials and stakeholders from the Government of India, the Government of Madhya Pradesh, and the telecommunications industry.
