With solar industry gaining momentum in the country, new players are entering the solar domain. Havells India has announced that they will be launching solar solutions including solar power generating systems, home lighting kits, solar pumps, solar street lights etc. What is even more interesting is that all these products will be assembled/ manufactured in Neemrana and will be rolled out pan India in phases starting from June 2016, catering to the domestic market.
Indian government has been advocating the use of renewable energy and the country has a set of target of achieving 1.75 GW of renewable energy by 2022. Havells India feels that this is the right time to enter the market as the demand for solar related products is going to increase from now onwards.
Moreover, with state government;s coming up with their own solar policies to encourage the use of solar energy would mean that there is more awareness among consumers about the benefits of using solar energy.
Havells India is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of electrical and power equipments. It offers industrial and domestic circuit protection switch gear, cables and wires, motors, fans, power capacitors, lamps, luminaries for domestic, commercial and industrial applications, modular switches and bath fittings.
