HCLTech’s GenAI platform, AI Force, now on Google Cloud’s Gemini models, merges with Google’s large language model to boost large-scale innovation.
On Thursday, Indian IT services company HCLTech announced that its GenAI platform, HCLTech AI Force, can now be accessed on Google Cloud’s Gemini models. HCLTech AI Force, designed to work across different systems, aims to speed up the advantages of investing in GenAI technology.
According to a statement from the Noida-based company, this platform has been integrated with Google’s multimodal large language model (LLM) Gemini to encourage large-scale innovation. Besides providing access to Gemini applications, HCLTech AI Force claims to ensure strong security and governance protocols.
The company is hopeful that Google’s AI-powered assistant Gemini models will boost HCLTech’s industry solutions. These solutions encompass smart asset tracking, enhancing material flow within manufacturing plants, and a central Production Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution. Moreover, solutions tailored for mobile providers aim to advance network automation and implement net-zero intelligence operations to reduce energy consumption.
Expanding GenAI initiatives beyond the initial proof-of-concept stage can be challenging for enterprises, often because of the significant costs involved. Vijay Guntur, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech emphasized how HCLTech AI Force tackles this challenge. It will speed up time-to-market and boost efficiency across the product engineering life cycle. In the company’s statement, Guntur also noted that their AI-driven approach to software engineering, support, and maintenance provides a practical solution for updating engineering processes with GenAI.
