IFSEC India 2011 returns to Delhi in Dec

Following the success of the IFSEC exhibition and the Homeland Security India 2010 conference last year, these much awaited security events return to New Delhi’s Pragati Maidan. They will be on from December 8-10, 2011.

This year, over 250 exhibitors have already confirmed their participation and visitors’ pre-registration has crossed the 3000 figure, making IFSEC India and Homeland Security India the ‘must attend’ exhibition and conference for India’s commercial and homeland security market.

IFSEC India is the only international business to business (B2B) exhibition of its kind in the region, which is now rated highly amongst the most prominent and important exhibitions on the commercial and homeland security sector in the country. “Sparsh has been exhibiting with IFSEC India since its inception. It is a great platform for not only showcasing the latest products but also to know about the upcoming trends in the Indian security industry. It also provides an excellent opportunity to clients and visitors to see where the security industry stands today, within India,” said Sanjeev Sehgal, managing director, Sparsh.

This event is organised by UBM India, a subsidiary of UBM, an international firm that organises and owns several global security trade fairs, including the world’s largest international security trade fair, IFSEC UK. A strong international network, and an extensive domestic and international database have enabled IFSEC India to reach out to the global homeland and commercial security industry. This has also helped to increase awareness about the potential of the local security industry, both from the point of view of a buyer and a supplier to the world market.

“This year again, as always, we are getting very positive responses from the industry. Even with the choices available to exhibitors, they still consider IFSEC the safest marketing tool and invest most of their budget with us,” said Nigel Luke Brown, director, exhibitions.

The event aims to bring together under one roof security experts from various industries including financial services, infrastructure, public safety, law enforcement, retail, realty and hospitality, all of whom are searching for the latest products and services in the security market.

“Visitors to the Bosch stall would get to see an exciting range of our latest products and meet with our product specialists,” said Ajay Sahney, country head, Bosch Security Systems, India.

A number of the industry’s leading companies will be displaying their products and solutions at the event. Some of them are ADI, Aditya, ANG India, Arise, Axis, BGI, BOSCH, DVTel, Everfocus, FAAC, Godrej, Gunnebo, HID, HIKVISION, Honeywell Security, Indigo Vision, Kores, Kufra, LG, Matrix, Microsoft, Morpho, NEC, Neural, Panasonic, Samriddhi Automation, Turbo, Tyco, Vectra and Verint, to name a few. There will also be country pavilions from the UK, USA, France, Sweden, Taiwan and China.

“It is a great platform to reach out to key decision makers in the industry and showcase our new technologies and product innovations,” added Vikas Chadha, regional director, South Asia, Honeywell Security Group.

This year, IFSEC India, in partnership with ASSOCHAM, will organise the Homeland Security India Conference 2011.
