Winning big contracts abroad, Hyderabad’s Jeh Aerospace now sets sights on India’s defence skies.
Hyderabad-based Jeh Aerospace has secured long-term export contracts worth over $100 million from tier-1 and tier-2 players in the US commercial aerospace supply chain, marking a major milestone for the young company. Founder and CEO Vishal R Sanghavi said the contracts provide “a very stable platform” and long-term visibility for growth.
Currently operating with a 100 per cent export model, Jeh expects domestic revenues to gradually contribute to its portfolio, with Sanghavi forecasting a possible 70-30 export-to-domestic mix within four to five years. The company also plans to diversify into defence aerospace to balance commercial demand cycles.
Jeh operates with a 110-member team from its Hyderabad facility. The company’s growth aligns with a broader surge in aerospace sourcing from India, with Airbus and Boeing both announcing plans to expand procurement significantly. Airbus aims to double sourcing from India to $1.5 billion, while Boeing’s current sourcing stands at around ₹10,000 crore.
While the US remains Jeh’s primary focus, the company is also eyeing Western Europe, targeting Germany, France and Switzerland. Founded in 2022, Jeh is backed by former Boeing India CEO Prat Kumar and former Airbus India CEO Srinivasan Dwarkanath. It has also secured funding from IndiGo Ventures, General Catalyst and, most recently, $11 million from Elevation Capital in August 2025.
