Serentica Renewables To Deploy Envision Turbines For 560 MW Wind Project

Powering industries with green energy, Serentica taps Envision’s smart turbines to advance India’s clean energy goals.

Serentica Renewables has selected Envision Energy India to supply Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) for its 560 MW wind power project, strengthening its push towards round-the-clock renewable energy solutions for industries. The project will feature advanced Envision Smart WTGs, each rated at 5 MW, with deliveries expected to begin in February 2026.

Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica Renewables, said the partnership would accelerate India’s clean energy journey. “The upcoming wind projects in Karnataka, Maharashtra and other states will not only supply dependable renewable energy to industrial consumers but also play a vital role in reducing carbon emissions,” he said, emphasising Serentica’s mission to provide transformative green power solutions.

Envision Energy India’s Managing Director, RPV Prasad, highlighted the collaboration’s significance. “We are proud to partner with Serentica Renewables for this project in Karnataka and Maharashtra, driving the energy transition with our 5 MW Smart Wind Turbines. It is an honour to collaborate in advancing India’s net-zero goals,” he said.

Serentica chose Envision’s high-performance turbines for their proven efficiency, reliability and ability to deliver sustained output. These turbines are expected to play a critical role in powering energy-intensive industries with renewable sources.
