Eyeing to deliver scalable drone-as-a-service solutions, Jyoti Global Plast and DroneIQ Aeronext join forces to upgrade India’s drone ecosystem.
Jyoti Global Plast has announced the formation of a new joint venture, Jyoti Aeronext Pvt Ltd (name subject to Central Registration Centre (CRC) approval), in partnership with DroneIQ Aeronext LLP.
The venture will deliver drone-as-a-service (DAAS) solutions in India, targeting a wide range of civilian and commercial applications as demand for drone technology grows across industries.
The move builds on Jyoti Global Plast’s work in the drone-as-a-product (DAAP) segment, where it has developed lightweight drone structures and related components. The new entity combines Jyoti’s manufacturing expertise with DroneIQ Aeronext’s operational capabilities to expand into service delivery.
Commenting on the matter, Deven Shah, Whole Time Director and CEO of Jyoti Global Plast Limited, noted, “The drone industry in India is entering a phase of rapid expansion, supported by strong policy momentum and growing adoption across industries.”
He added: “By combining our engineering and manufacturing strengths with Aeronext’s operational expertise, the joint venture positions us to build scalable DAAS solutions that can support multiple industries while contributing to the growth of India’s civilian drone ecosystem.”
The joint venture will initially focus on services such as high-rise facade inspection and cleaning, industrial and infrastructure inspection, security and surveillance, and aerial advertising. These applications aim to improve efficiency, enhance safety and reduce costs compared with traditional methods.
Aryan K Saha, Designated Partner at DroneIQ Aeronext LLP, said, “Across industries, organisations are turning to drone technology to improve safety, efficiency and operational visibility. From infrastructure inspections and industrial monitoring to urban services and media applications, the range of use cases continues to expand.”
