LONGi, a solar technology company, has announced a long-term supply agreement with Ferroglobe PLC, producer of Silicon Metal and Ferroalloys, starting January 1, 2024.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ferroglobe will supply high-quality quartzite and metallurgical grade silicon (MGS) to LONGi, supporting the latter’s strategy to increase purchases from leading Western suppliers of silicon materials. This strategic partnership aligns with both companies’ commitment to operational excellence and traceability, from quartzite to solar panels.
LONGi operates manufacturing facilities and sales offices in over 150 countries and regions worldwide. The company adheres to the concept of ‘Solar for Solar’ and aims to establish long-term cooperative relationships with more outstanding overseas enterprises in the future.
