The new facility leverages Nvidia accelerated computing to advance digital twins, industrial AI, and autonomous factory operations.
L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has inaugurated an AI-native “EI Lab for Digital Manufacturing” in Bengaluru, developed in collaboration with Nvidia. The facility provides an experiential environment for clients and partners to explore AI-driven manufacturing, digital twin technologies, and autonomous systems across the production lifecycle.
The lab extends LTTS’ Engineering Intelligence charter directly onto the factory floor through live, scenario-based demonstrations. Designed to assist enterprises in transitioning from digital engineering and virtual validation to connected, intelligent production, the facility incorporates a multi-layered technological architecture.
Within the Manufacturing Intelligence layer, the facility features an AI-powered Manufacturing Command Center providing executive decision-intelligence, alongside a manufacturing data fabric with a knowledge graph and a supply chain control tower supported by multi-plant benchmarking and AI production planning.
The AI-Native Factory layer integrates intelligent machinery, robotics, cobots, drones, and digital twins using Nvidia accelerated computing solutions—including Nvidia Omniverse, Isaac Sim, PhysX, Cosmos, NeMo, and OpenUSD workflows—to execute tasks with minimal human intervention.
Meanwhile, the Operations AI & Autonomy layer serves as a governance and verification gate that checks actions generated by agentic AI swarms before execution by physical machinery, ensuring safer decision-making across factory design, quality control, maintenance, and sustainability.
All of these solutions are consolidated within LTTS’ unified platform, EIOne, which aggregates over 100 Engineering Intelligence solutions and agentic AI swarms into a single governed ecosystem designed for enterprise-grade security and operational control.
Vishal Dhupar, Managing Director for South Asia at Nvidia, noted that the lab provides manufacturers with a practical environment to validate simulation-first approaches to industrial transformation by combining Nvidia’s hardware, software, and world models with LTTS’ engineering domain knowledge. Amit Chadha, CEO & MD of L&T Technology Services, added that the collaboration allows the company to translate advanced simulation and accelerated computing capabilities into practical, scalable solutions for its global customer base.
