Strengthening access to advanced power solutions worldwide, Navitas has partnered with Avnet to broaden its global distribution reach.
Navitas Semiconductor has expanded its distribution agreement with Avnet, making Avnet a globally franchised strategic distribution partner. The move marks a consolidation of Navitas’ global distribution network and significantly broadens its channel presence with one of the world’s largest electronic component distributors.
The expanded partnership follows Avnet Silica’s strong performance in Europe and is designed to provide customers worldwide with faster access to Navitas’ GaN and SiC high voltage, high power wide bandgap semiconductor devices. Avnet will offer both commercial and technical expertise to support key high growth sectors including AI data centers, high performance computing, renewable energy, grid infrastructure, and industrial electrification.
Navitas said the consolidation will allow customers to benefit from regional specialists such as Avnet Silica in Europe while gaining access to a globally unified distribution framework through Avnet. This alignment is expected to deliver consistent technical support and more reliable access to Navitas’ products across all major markets.
Alessandro Squeri, Vice President of Global Distribution, Operations and Transformation at Navitas, said expanding Avnet’s franchise globally was a natural progression as the company refines its distribution network around high power markets. He added that Avnet’s engineering capabilities and global reach will help accelerate adoption of Navitas’ GaN and SiC platforms.
Alex Iuorio, Senior Vice President of Global Supplier Development at Avnet, said the global expansion of the partnership highlights the strength of Avnet’s teams in supporting customers in demanding high power applications. He noted that Navitas’ innovation aligns with Avnet’s focus on enabling advanced, energy efficient solutions worldwide.
