National Instruments (NI) has named Ajit Gokhale as its new vice-president for product marketing, effective August 1, 2011. In his new role, Gokhale, who was the general manager for NI’s UK, France, Ireland and Portugal offices, will oversee product marketing for NI’s core platforms of data acquisition and instrument control.
Meanwhile, Danfoss Industries Pvt Ltd, a leader in mechanical and electronics components and solutions, announced the appointment of Noel Ryan as president of Danfoss India. Having been with Danfoss since 1997, an important aspect of Ryan’s new role will be to support the group’s growth and also ensure the company’s continued expansion in the country.
Cadence Design Systems (India) Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Cadence Design Systems, Inc, a global leader in design innovation, announced that FTD Automation Pvt Ltd (FTD) has been appointed as the Cadence channel partner in India as a value added reseller (VAR). FTD is now the only authorized distributor of Cadence OrCAD products in India.
FTD will distribute the Cadence OrCAD design suite and also provide strong localised technical support and training for current Cadence OrCAD users. By appointing FTD as its channel partner, Cadence offers its customer fulfillment capabilities to the local design community and reinforces its ongoing commitment to support clients.
