New wave soldering machines in the market

The market for wave soldering machines seems to be going through a slow phase, as we found that very little equipment was launched in this category in the last one year

By Sneha Ambastha

Wave soldering machines are big pieces of equipment used to solder large components on printed circuit boards (PCBs). In this process of wave soldering, the PCBs are passed over a wave of solder at very high temperatures so that the solder paste enters the required spaces on the board to solder the components. Wave soldering is used with both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT), but is not suitable for PCB manufacturing that involves very fine pitches. It is considered ideal for boards with conventional leaded components and surface mount boards with large components.
The following are the new products launched in this category in the last one year.

Model: 356mm (14”) Single and dual wave soldering machine, Brand: EPS, Manufacturer: EPS Worldwide Pvt Ltd
This 356mm (14”) single and dual wave soldering machine is an automatic system with self-contained fluxing, preheating, and smooth and turbulent solder wave modules. It is easy to use and requires low maintenance. This model has two variants—14FS and 14FD. It has exceptional accuracy with high repeatability.
