From robotics and digital twins to AI cloud services and autonomous vehicles, the collaboration aims to accelerate LG Group’s AI-driven business expansion.
NVIDIA and LG Group have announced a strategic partnership to develop an AI factory ecosystem that will support the next generation of AI-powered businesses across manufacturing, robotics, mobility and data center infrastructure.
The collaboration combines NVIDIA’s AI computing platform with LG Group’s expertise in consumer electronics, industrial systems, telecommunications and mobility technologies. The AI factory will provide the computing infrastructure needed to train, simulate, validate and deploy AI applications at scale.
A key focus of the partnership is smart manufacturing. By integrating AI, real-time data and digital twin technologies, the companies aim to create highly automated production environments that connect sourcing, manufacturing, logistics and delivery operations. The initiative is expected to improve efficiency while helping establish new standards for AI-driven factories.
The partnership will also accelerate LG’s robotics ambitions. LG Electronics plans to use NVIDIA’s robotics simulation and AI development platforms to develop and test home and industrial robots in virtual environments before deployment. The companies are also exploring advanced AI models that can improve robot reasoning and task execution capabilities.
Beyond robotics, several LG Group companies are expanding collaboration with NVIDIA in AI infrastructure. LG Electronics, LG CNS, LG Uplus and LG Energy Solution plan to develop scalable AI factories and data centers based on NVIDIA’s AI factory architecture. The projects will include advanced cooling systems, modular data center designs, GPU cloud services and next-generation energy solutions to support growing AI workloads.
In the mobility sector, LG Electronics and LG Innotek will work with NVIDIA to strengthen autonomous driving and software-defined vehicle technologies through advanced sensing, computing and AI platforms.
The partnership also supports the development of EXAONE, LG AI Research’s sovereign AI model family. With support from NVIDIA’s AI hardware and software technologies, LG aims to expand enterprise AI adoption across its businesses.
The collaboration highlights the growing convergence of AI infrastructure, manufacturing and mobility as companies invest in building large-scale AI ecosystems.
