With this step, the company continues establishing itself as a pioneer in the electric vehicle industry, setting new standards in innovation, affordability, and accessibility.

Okaya EV has announced a price reduction across its entire range of electric scooters. This strategic move, aimed at making electric mobility more affordable for the Indian market, offers discounts of up to INR 18,000, valid until February 29, 2024. With prices starting as low as INR 74,899, the company is set to revolutionise how consumers view electric transportation, combining affordability with cutting-edge technology and performance.

The flagship model, Faast F4, is now available for INR 1,19,990, a significant reduction from its previous price of INR 1,37,990. This premium scooter offers an impressive 140 to 160 kilometres range on a single charge. It comes equipped with dual batteries, boasting a combined capacity of 4.4 kWh, the highest in the industry. Such innovations underscore the company’s commitment to leading the charge in sustainable transportation solutions.

All electric scooters are powered by BLDC Hub motors and are certified by the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) under the stringent AIS 156 Amendment III Phase 2 standards. This certification guarantees that the company’s scooters meet high safety standards, including IP67 ratings for water and dust resistance, ensuring a reliable and durable ride.

The LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology is at the heart of the company’s products, renowned for its safety and efficiency, particularly in India’s challenging weather conditions. This technology offers a longer lifespan and better performance than traditional NMC batteries, highlighting the company’s dedication to quality and sustainability. The company claims that by reducing prices, they aim to address customer concerns regarding EV affordability and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across India. This initiative is expected to play a crucial role in driving the country’s shift towards cleaner, more sustainable modes of transportation.

The price reduction spans the entire the company electric scooter lineup, including the Faast F3, Motofaast, Faast F2F, Faast F2B, Faast F2T, and the Freedum slow-speed model.
