Orxa Energies will launch its first performance-oriented electric motorcycle on 21 November. Named Mantis, the motorcycle, might feature a 9kWH battery mated to one of the most powerful motors India has seen as of yet.
Inspired by a Mantis, several test sessions for the motorcycle have been arranged by the company for interested riders during the recent past.

In July-August 2022, SAR Group invested close to $5 million in Orxa Energies, and the founders say that this strategic investment from the group has helped them in more than one way.
Notably, the start-up is working with several companies and helping them with battery packs, and more segments related to the ‘performance electric vehicles’ vertical, some of which include vehicle design, architecture, engineering, embedded systems, power electronics, software, and IoT stack.
Last fiscal, the start-up developed and supplied batteries for over 250 drones. The start-up has also been developing and supplying battery packs used in “extreme temperature conditions.
According to Dr Prajwal Sabnis, Co-Founder, Orxa Energies, “Everything Orxa does is inspired from the Mantis.”
